Cheery, democratic and easy going people will like Cuba. Cuba has over 3,000 miles of coastline, and its numerous cays and islands offer prominent coastlines of their own. In Varadero, Cayo Coco, and Cayo Largo you can enjoy a number of water sports, soak up some warm rays, enjoy the transparent Caribbean waters, and just refresh your inner soul. Cuba's premier beach resort and tourist Mecca, Varadero, is situated on a spit of land that reaches out into the Atlantic, a two-hour drive to the east of Havana.
